MALVA Natural Cosmetics refers to a range of natural handmade beauty products, based on extra virgin olive oil. It arose from the collaboration of two friends, Eleni and Antonis, who share their love for nature and all that it offers.
Our interest in the healing properties of herbs as well as our passion for natural cosmetics and soap making began in 2010. After testing and experimentation, we have come up with a range of products, emphasizing on the quality of raw materials and reducing our ecological footprint. We named this series MALVA, which means mallow, a plant endemic to our region known for its healing properties.
Our products are for those who are looking for a natural alternative to the products they use.
Our goal is to expand this range of products, always within the framework of handmade and natural, in order to satisfy the preferences of friends, acquaintances and interested parties, staying true to our philosophy and maintaining our high quality.
Our philosophy
Our vision is to live in harmony with each other and with the rhythms of nature, investing in relationships of trust, acceptance, respect and honesty. At the same time, to be able to produce what we consume, adapting our needs to the seasons and to what the place we live in can give us. We still have a long way to go, but our efforts are in that direction.
MALVA Natural Cosmetics, arose out of our need to produce the care products we use. Our goal is to offer products that respect nature and people. At the same time, through this effort, we wish to support small producers who use environmentally friendly cultivation and manufacturing methods.
MALVA Natural Cosmetics is part of a larger project, the “Chelone Koinsep.”, which we established in 2021. This project focuses on the manufacture of handmade products and the provision of services with a view to protecting the environment and biodiversity, raising awareness of the local community on environmental issues, waste management and waste reduction starting from the local level, fair and solidarity trade, and agro-tourism.
Our ingredients
The raw materials we use are selected based on their high quality and environmentally friendly manufacturing methods. For their procurement, we try to choose fair trade channels.
Oils
We use organic olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter and almond oil for our soaps, our ointments and our natural deodorants.
Extracts
We use calendula, chamomile and lavender extracts for their antimicrobial, healing and antiseptic properties.
Essential oils
We use lavender, cinnamon, teatree and orange essential oils for their perfume as well as their properties. We also use beeswax, aloe vera and oat.
Our products
Until today, we are mainly engaged in the production of soaps, wax salves and deodorants. All our products are natural and handmade. Our goal is to develop our product range, based on new needs or proposals.
